Aisha Jamila is an American actor who is most well popular for her work on the TV shows The Shield and True Blood. Since her 2003 debut she has displayed her acting versatility by providing outstanding performances on television programs like 9-1-1 Detroit 1--8-7 and Under the Dome. Her performance of Assault on Precinct 13 from 2005 was the first one to grab her notice. But it was her portrayal of Fannie Lou (a female activist fighting for equality) for the biographical All the Way film that made her famous as an actor. Hind was also recognized by critics for her portrayal as Harriet Tubman in WGN America's historical television drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. The show was renewed for a third season, thanks to 20th Century Fox Television. Hind has recently finished filming the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters. Born in Mangalore in India. Her father Krishnaraj was who is an Army scientist who died on the 18th of March 2017 and her mother Vrinda have both been homemakers.
