Aisha Jamila is an American actor who is most well popular for her work on the TV shows The Shield and True Blood. Since her 2003 debut she has displayed her acting versatility by providing outstanding performances on television programs like 9-1-1 Detroit 1--8-7 and Under the Dome. Her performance of Assault on Precinct 13 from 2005 was the first one to grab her notice. But it was her portrayal of Fannie Lou (a female activist fighting for equality) for the biographical All the Way film that made her famous as an actor. Hind was also recognized by critics for her portrayal as Harriet Tubman in WGN America's historical television drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. The show was renewed for a third season, thanks to 20th Century Fox Television. Hind has recently finished filming the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters. Born in Mangalore in India. Her father Krishnaraj was who is an Army scientist who died on the 18th of March 2017 and her mother Vrinda have both been homemakers. Aditya is her younger brother who is also a merchant naval engineer. Her brother was co-producing and co-writing the script for Dil Ka Rishta with their mother. Her family moved to Mumbai to attend Arya Vidya Mandir. Jai Hind College in Mumbai was where she finished the intermediate portion of her schooling in one year, before enrolling in D.G. Ruparel College in Matunga where she received a 90% of the H.S.C. exams. She took classical music classes and dance for 5 years through her teenage teens. She was a lover of Zoology. Bachchan at the time, taking classes in architecture, was crowned Miss World in the year 1994. Her title helped propel her into modeling's speed lane. The year 2003 was the time she was offered lucrative jobs with PepsiCo Inc. as well as Vogue magazine. She also was offered a contract to be model for L'Oreal Paris spokesmodel. The actress's career was off well thanks to her acclaimed roles for her in Iruvar (1997) and Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya (1997). Bachchan turned into the face of New Bollywood with these films which defied the basic Bollywood structure. The heartbreaking performance of Bachchan as Paro she was the lover who was duped by her within Devdas (2002) it was one of the most well-known Bollywood movies of the time. The film was first seen in the Cannes Film Festival cemented her as the queen of Bollywood. In the following years, she gained praise for her performance as Chokher Bali (2003) a tense drama inspired by Rabindranath Tagore's novel. Bachchan made her debut in the film Gurinderchadha's Bride and Prejudice, a ballet and musical version of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. After her release Provoked: a True Story in English, she returned to Bollywood and was a part of the film Dhoom: 2 (2007). She got married Abhishek Bachchan, co-star of the film who is the daughter of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan. This marriage brought two of India's most powerful individuals to one another.
