Allyson Felix
Allyson Michel Felix was born the 18th of November 1985, in Los Angeles. The father of her Paul Felix was an ordained minister at the Master's Seminary in Sun Valley and the mother of her child Marlean Felix was a school teacher at Balboa Magnet Elementary School. Felix displayed an early talent for athletics when she was studying at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Her sprinting potential at the time. A mere 10 weeks after the initial attempt she made the sport, she finished second for 200m in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. In 2003, Felix graduated from high school and signed a professional deal with the athletics company Adidas and then enrolled at the University of Southern California where she was studying elementary education. Felix was awarded her first Olympic gold at the Athens Summer Olympics 2004. Felix broke a junior-world record in the 200-meter race with a time of 22.18. At the 2005 Helsinki World Championships, Felix was the youngest world champion for running 200m. She won the title in 2007. defended the title in front of her Jamaican adversary Veronica Campbell. Felix was a regular competitor at Beijing, London Rio de Janeiro, and Tokyo. She always finished within the top three places of every event.
